Advantages and Disadvantages
1. Benefit to baby is they reduce (or eliminate) nappy rash, are more
comfortable than plastic nappies and more flexible when baby becomes active.
2. Benefits to parents in that they are cheaper than disposable nappies and do not need to be bought regularly.
3. Benefits to environment in that there are no disposal effects, the product
is natural and from a renewable source (the organic undyed Merino wool is the most environmentally friendly as no polluting dyes used). Processing the wool to a useable product is less polluting than continued manufacture of disposable nappies.
4. The only disadvantage appears to be that they need to be laundered.
