Child Protection- Basic Awareness
Our aim is to provide basic awareness of
child protection for childcare workers.
The interactive workshop, aims to enable all
practitioners to demonstrate common
practice and follow common procedures in
order to safeguard children.
The 5 hour workshops, can be provided in venues throughout the South East.
Who is the training for?
All early years, childcare practitioners, any person working with young children. The training underpins National Occupational Standards for early years and play work practitioners. This workshop wold be ideal for training school staff and inset days.
Aim:
Our aim to to provide basic child protection awareness to anyone working with children. The workshop explores what child abuse is, how to spot potential signs of child abuse, how to respond and steps that can be taken to safeguard a child’s welfare.
Sessions can be run during the day, in the evening or at weekends.
